    *Da Android ein Open Source Betriebssystem ist, können wir nicht garantieren, dass die Tastaturen mit jeder Version von Android kompatibel sind. Die nachfolgenden Seiten enthalten Informationen über die Installation und Funktionsweise der KSK-3205. Die verschiedenen Typen der Tastatur unterscheiden sich lediglich in ihrer Verbindungsart und/oder der Mausfunktion. Installation KSK-3205 RFM & KSK-3205 RFM Air 3.1 Systemvoraussetzungen Diese Tastaturen erfordern einen PC oder Mac mit USB-Anschluss und einem der folgenden Betriebssysteme: Windows XP / Vista / 7 Für die Installation der Tastatur unter den o. g. Betriebssystemen benötigen Sie KEINEN speziellen Treiber. 3.2 Installation des USB-Receivers Um Ihre Tastatur zu installieren, führen Sie bitte folgende Schritte aus: Stecken Sie den USB-Receiver an eine freie USB-Buchse Ihres Rechners. Hinweis: Bitte gewährleisten Sie, dass der USB-Receiver einen Mindestabstand von 20 cm zu metallischen Trennwänden, anderen Computergehäusen, Monitoren, ZIP-Laufwerken, Lautspre- chern und Schaltnetzteilen einhält.

Installation KSK-3205 BTM & KSK-3205 BTM Air 4.1 System-Voraussetzungen Voraussetzung zur Nutzung der Tastatur ist, dass Ihr Endgerät (PC, Notebook, Mac, Smart Phone o.ä.) • hardwareseitig Bluetooth-fähig ist (z.B. durch integriertes Bluetooth-Modul bzw. externen Adapter) • softwareseitig (Bluetooth) das HID-Profil einwandfrei unterstützt • softwareseitig (Betriebssystem) Standard-Tastaturtreiber mit zugehöriger Länderkennung einwandfrei unterstützt 4.2 Installation der Tastatur unter Windows Für die weitere Vorgehensweise wird vorausgesetzt, dass die entsprechende Bluetooth Treiber-Software bereits einwandfrei auf Ihrem Endgerät installiert wurde. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs, das sich auf der Rückseite befindet, in- dem Sie die komplette Rückseite der Tastatur mit leichtem Druck nach unten schieben. Legen Sie nun zwei Batterien des Typs AAA 1,5 V unter Beachtung der richtigen Pola- rität in das Batteriefach ein. Schalten Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter auf Ein.   • Page 5 Bedienungsanleitung KSK-3205 Drücken und halten Sie 2 Sekunden lang die Fn-Taste gedrückt und drücken Sie zu- sätzlich die M/ -Taste, wodurch ein Synchronisations-Signal an den USB-Receiver gesendet wird. Dadurch ist eine vollständige, überaus komfortable Bedienung vom Anwender-Standort (z. B. einem Sofa) aus möglich. Der Synchronisationsvorgang kann bis zu 10 Sekunden benötigen und wird durch das grüne Leuchten der LED (in der oberen, linken Ecke) signalisiert, welche nach erfolgreicher Prozedur erlischt. Ein Doppelklick mit der linken Mausetaste auf das Bluetooth-Logo öffnet das Menü „Bluetooth-Geräte“ Zum Synchronisieren FN- und M/ -Tasten gleich- zeitig für 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten. • Klicken Sie auf “Hinzufügen“ und „OK“. Die Status-LED leuchtet während des Synchroni- sationsvorgangs grün. Ist der Vorgang erfolgreich, erlischt sie. Alternativ zu der eben beschriebenen Methode öffnet ein Einfachklick auf das Bluetooth-Logo ein Pullup- Menü und nach einem weiteren Klick auf die Option „Bluetooth-Geräte hinzufügen“ erscheint das in der Abbildung gezeigte Menü.

Hierzu wäre ein dualer Bluetooth USB-Adapter erforderlich, der sowohl den HID– als auch den HCI–Modus (Host Controller Interface) unterstützt. 5. Bedienung der Tastatur Nach erfolgreicher Inbetriebnahme genießen Sie nun bei der Bedienung eine freie und unabhängige Standortwahl bis ca. 10 m Entfernung zum Empfänger. Mehr- oder Minderabstand können, wie bereits erwähnt, durch metallische Trennwände, Computer- gehäuse, Monitore, ZIP-Laufwerke, Lautsprecher, Schaltnetzteile u. v. m., aber auch durch eine unterschiedliche Ladekapazität der Batterien verursacht werden. 5.1 Mausfunktion KSK-3205 RFM & KSK-3205 BTM Als Mausersatz sind diese Tastaturen mit einem optischen Navigationsfeld (OFN - Optical Finger Navigation Technology) ein- schließlich zwei Maustasten ausgestattet, welche eine komfortable Bedienung des PCs, Macs oder Smart Phones gestattet. Optisches Navigationsfeld • Um die Doppelklick-Geschwindigkeit und die Geschwindigkeit der Maus-Zeigerbewegungen langsamer oder schneller zu machen, verändern Sie die Einstellungen der Maus-Optionen in Ihrer Systemsteuerung. • Bei Notebooks mit bereits integriertem Touchpad sollten Sie bei der Verwendung der Tastatur diese internen Steuergeräte deaktivieren, falls es zu Fehlermeldungen oder Funktionsstörun- Linke & rechte Maustaste gen kommt* Sollte die Präzision des Mauszeigers nach mehreren Monaten der Anwendung nachlassen, überprüfen Sie bitte die installierten Batterien auf ihren Ladezustand. Im Zweifelsfalle tauschen Sie diese gegen neue aus. *Hinweis: Eine zu geringe Batterie-Kapazität kann auch dafür verantwortlich sein, dass die Reichweite zur Funkfernbedienung des PC beeinträchtigt ist bzw. beim Schreiben vereinzelt Zeichen ausgelassen werden. 5.2 Mausfunktion KSK-3205 RFM Air & KSK-3205 BTM Air Als Mausersatz sind diese Tastaturen mit einem Gyrosensor einschließlich zwei Maustasten ausgestattet, welche eine kom- fortable Bedienung des PCs, Macs oder Smart Phones gestattet. Installation KSK-3205 RFM & KSK-3205 RFM Air 3.1 System Requirements This keyboard requires a PC with USB connection and one of the following operating systems: Windows XP / Vista / 7 No additional drivers are needed when using one of the above mentioned operating systems. 3.2 Installation of the USB-Receiver In order to install your receiver, please perform the following steps: Connect the USB receiver to a free USB port on your computer. Advise: Please ensure, that the USB receiver has a minimal distance of 20 cm to metallic divi- ding walls, other computer cases, monitors, ZIP drives,speakers and switching power supplies.
  • Page 14 4.2 Installation of the Keyboard using Windows Ensure for the further procedure that the used Bluetooth driver software was installed correctly on your PC. In order to open up the battery case which is on the back side of the keyboard, apply light pressure and pull the entire cover on the back of the keyboard downwards. Now put in two type AAA 1.5V batteries, considering the right polarity in the battery case. Switch the on/off switch to On.   • Page 15 Manual KSK-3205 Press and hold the Fn-key together with the M/ -key for 2 seconds. This initiates the pairing process and a synchronization signal is sent to the USB receiver. The synchronization process can take up to 10 seconds. The LED (top, left corner) will be blinking in green during this process. When it turns off, the pairing is complete, the synchronization process is now complete. A double click with the left mouse key on the Bluetooth logo opens the menu „Blu- etooth devices“. To synchronize, press and hold Fn and M/ . • Click “Add“ and „OK“. The status LED light green during the process. After completion, it turns off. Alternatively to the just described method, a single click on the Bluetooth logo opens a pull up menu; and after a further click on the option „add Bluetooth devices“...

Using the Keyboard After a successful launch, enjoy a free and independent choice of location up to approx. 10 m distance from the receiver. Trans- mission range may be affected by aforementioned metallic dividing walls, other computer cases, monitors, ZIP drives, speakers, switching power supplies etc., as well as by low loading capacities of the batteries. 5.1 Mouse Function KSK-3205 RFM & KSK-3205 BTM The keyboard features an optical finger navigation panel (OFN - optical finger navigation technology) and two mouse buttons to replace a mouse. Thus a comfortable use of the PC is possible. • Gently move a finger over the navigation panel in order to move the mouse pointer on your screen. Should the precision of the cursor decrease after several months of usage, please check the ins- talled batteries for their state. In case of doubt exchange them with new ones.
