Inside the "bulb" is a sophisticated low-light monochrome camera, coupled to our exclusive IRFS™ patented circuitry. The built-in, patented infra-red system will see in total darkness to a maximum of 30 feet; more with supplemental IR floodlights. What About This Infra-Red? Many people misunderstand the idea of infra-red lighting.

    INSTALLATION ® Installing the SecureView "light bulb camera" OUTDOOR MODEL The SecureView ® video security camera is designed to look exactly like a standard PAR-38 outdoor floodlight, and will fit in most fixtures designed to accept the PAR-38 style lamp. Shown here is a typical installation in a 2-socket outdoor fixture.
