    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS INSTALL THE GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN fig. 1a Side-cover knob ( fig. 1 ) 1. Rotate the side-cover knob counter-clockwise and then remove the side cover (fig. 1a). 2. Lay the new saw chain in a loop on a flat surface and straighten any kinks.
