No missing teeth on this creepy creature! Build a fun, crawly creature with the Gears! Gears! Gears!
Wacky Wigglers
®
! These models are fun in the daylight and even more fun at night. Each model
comes to life with glow-in-the-dark pieces, stickers, and battery-powered dome lights. Build the
models shown in this guide or make your own creation! Follow these instructions to get started.
NOTE: The motor requires 3 fresh "AA" batteries. To insert or remove batteries, use a screwdriver to
remove the battery compartment cover located on the motor. Be sure to insert batteries correctly
according to (+) and (-) symbols in the battery compartment.
The Dome Lights each require 3 L736 button cell battery (included). See the last page in this guide
for more information on proper battery care.
Use the buttons on the motor to move the model forward and backward. Use the switch on the side of
the dome lights to turn the lights on or off. Don't forget to turn the dome lights off when not in use!
Building Tips
• As you build, test the motor every so often to make sure the gears are moving, and to make
sure you have not over loaded it with too many gears. The motor will only power a limited
number of gears, depending on the size of the gears you use. If the gears are turning very,
very slowly, remove some of the gears.
• When attaching the Crown Gear, first connect an axle with a gear on 1 side to the motor,
then place the crown gear connected to a red pillar with peg on top (see figure #1) If you put
a gear on both sides of the axle, the gears will not turn.
• Your Wacky Wiggler will roll best if the gears that touch the floor are moving in the same
direction. Test this by placing it on the floor, turning on the motor and looking at the
direction the gears are turning (see figure #2).
• When removing the Large Springs from gears, please detach piece using tabs at the base of
the connector. Failure to remove properly may cause injury (see figure #3).
