    WARNING GLOVES MUST BE WORN WHILE USING THE FIRE FIGHTER SELF-RESCUE ACCESSORY (GLOVES ARE OMITTED FROM THE ILLUSTRATIONS FOR GREATER DETAIL). USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT WITHOUT GLOVES MAY RESULT IN THE PULL UP INABILITY TO PROPERLY CONTROL DESCENT WHICH COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

    WARNING After an emergency use of this equipment, the entire Fire Fighter Self-Rescue Accessory must be replaced before the respirator is returned to service. ANY ESCAPE ROPE THAT IS USED FOR AN ACTUAL EMERGENCY ESCAPE MUST BE After you have terminated use of the respirator, the respirator must be removed DESTROYED AFTER USE.
  • Page 14 After the jettison clips are removed, perform a change of profile while maintaining use of the respirator, OR terminate use of the respirator according to the OPERA- TION AND MAINTENANCE instructions provided with the respirator. Remove the regulator, loosen the shoulder straps, and remove the respirator. DO NOT UNBUCKLE THE WAIST BELT.

    USE AS LADDER BELT The EZ-Scape Pro Self-Rescue Accessory may be used with a Multi-Use Ladder Strap (P/N 31003385) as a ladder belt to position the user securely to a rung on a ladder while doing work that requires one or both hands. Select a rung located above the waist but below the shoulders.
