GEARING AND TIMING
Timing can be adjusted by loosening the three screws and
rotating the aluminum end cap. Rotating the end cap counter-
clockwise adds timing which increases the motor's RPM. Be
aware that by adding timing, motor temperatures will increase
and battery duration will decrease. Those with limited motor
tuning experience should leave the timing at the factory setting.

• Avoid over gearing by monitoring motor temperature.
Operating temperatures should NOT exceed 80C (175F)
• Be sure to use the proper size motor mounting screws
• Do NOT over-tighten the motor mounting screws
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
• Solder the three leads from your Electronic Speed Control
(ESC) noting the A, B, and C connections. Do NOT allow
solder to bridge the gap between each connection.
• To clean your motor, lightly brush dirt away on a regular
basis paying particularly close attention to the area around
the ball bearing. Occasionally add a small drop of bearing
oil. DO NOT spray cleaners or solvents into the motor.
