1. Designation / application
Emergency lighting systems in conformity with DIN EN 60598-2-22, VDE 0108, DIN EN 1838, BGV A8 and GUV-
VA 1, designed to provide illumination when the general artificial lighting system breaks down.

2.2 Guarantee
Our liability for defects in the goods supplied has been defined in our terms and conditions of delivery. No liabi-
lity will be admitted for damages which arise through failure to observe the operating and servicing instructions
or the conditions of use. Only impeccable products which possess the properties we claim for them leave our wa-
rehouse. When the indications given below in these operating and servicing instructions are complied with, pro-
per operation of the equipment can thus be guaranteed.
2.3 Safety
These operating and servicing instructions contain fundamental indications which are to be observed in the course
of operation and for purposes of servicing and maintenance. It is therefore essential that these operating and
servicing instructions be read by the technical personnel of the operating party before commissioning. In addition,
the operator should draw up a set of operating instructions, based on the present operating instructions and
having regard to the given site-specific and company-specific features, and instruct the responsible technicians
accordingly before commencing any activity.
3. Warehousing / transport
The emergency luminaires should be stored in dry conditions where there is no danger of frost, if possible in the
supplied transport packaging (cardboard + pallet). The same conditions apply to the conveyance of the equipment
to the place where it is to be installed.
