Machine Description The Knegt UTVolt The Knegt UTVolt is a six-wheeled four-Wheel-Drive (4WD) utility vehicle fitted with a cargo box. The vehicle is propelled by two electric AC motors driving through two gearboxes to the rear wheels. Intended Use The machine is intended to be used on the farm, garden and similar environment to transport fruits, vegetables, fertilizers, timer, etc.
They tell you of potential hazards and how to avoid them. If you do not fully understand the warning messages, ask your employer or Knegt distributor to explain them. But safety is not just a matter of responding to the warnings. All the time you are working on or with the machine you must be thinking what hazards there might be and how to avoid them.

Do not consume alcoholic drinks or take drugs before or while operating the machine or attachments. Be aware of medicines which can cause drowsiness. CAUTION: HELP PREVENT INJURY WHEN DUMPING LOADS Operate dump with machine stationary and parking brake locked: Never dump while ⚫ moving. ⚫ Operate dump on level ground only. ⚫ Do not place hands behind seat when lowering box. Do not guess. If there is anything you do not understand, ask your Knegt distributor. The operator must always be aware of events happening in or around the machine. Safety must always be the most important factor when you operate the machine.

Emergency Button Use the emergency button to terminate power supply immediately in case of an emergency taking place that required to stop the machine. The power supply to motor will be also cut off.

Power Switch Turn the power switch to OFF position to turn off the battery power supply before doing any service.
Before Entering the Cab The following checks should be made each time you return to the vehicle after leaving it for any period of time. We advise you also to stop the vehicle occasionally during long work sessions and do the checks again. All these checks concern the serviceability of the vehicle.
Seat Controls Introduction WARNING Seat Position the seat so that you can comfortably reach the machine controls. Do not adjust the seat while the machine is moving. You could have an accident if you operate the machine with the seat in the wrong position. The operator's seat can be adjusted for your comfort.
Seat Belts Seat Belt WARNING If you do not wear your seat belt you could be thrown about inside the machine or thrown out of the machine and crushed. You must wear a seat belt when using the machine. Fasten the seat belt before starting the machine. WARNING When a seat belt is fitted to your machine replace it with a new one if it is damaged, if the fabric is worn, or if the machine has been in an accident.
Drive Controls, Switches and Instruments Drive Controls Steering Wheel Full lock is 1.5 turns to the left and 1.5 turns to the right. Brake Pedal Pushing on this pedal operates the brakes. Releasing the pedal releases the brakes. Accelerator Pedal Pushing on this pedal increases the speeds of the vehicle.
Switches 、 The installed switches and their positions can change according to the specification of the machine. Each switch has a graphic symbol to show the function of the switch. Before you operate a switch, make sure that you understand its function. The rocker switches have two or three positions (as shown).

Moving the Machine Starting the Machine 1. Engage the park brake. The park brake should have been engaged when the vehicle was last parked. But if it is not already engaged, engage it now. 2. Do a Pre-start-inspection. For your own safety (and others) and for a maximum service life of your vehicle, do a pre-start inspection before starting the machine.
Stopping and Parking the Machine Where possible, stop the vehicle on dry and level ground. 1. Stop the Vehicle. Ease up on the accelerator pedal and down on the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a smooth stop. Keep the foot brake on until the park brake has been engaged and the drive disengaged.
Lifting and Loading Operations Carrying Loads WARNING Load Bay Passengers must not be carried in the vehicle load bay. It is the operator’s responsibility to ensure that his loads are carried safely. Loads which are too heavy, unbalanced or insecure can be hazardous to anyone on or near the vehicle. 1.
Position of the Button A and B Raise the Load Bay Park the vehicle on level ground with the park brake engaged and switch off the motors. Sit in the operator seat B and raise the load bay by pressing and holding the switch button A shown above.
