Chapter 2: Installing the Automated Slide Gate 4. Align the actuator housing assembly (A or B) to the receiver assembly (25) by inserting alignment punches (27) to two holes at alternate locations. 5. Install the 5/16" x 2" HHCS bolts (7) and 5/16" ESNA nuts (13) to the other two holes with bolt head on the outside of the actuator housing assembly (A or B).
Page 21
Chapter 2: Installing the Automated Slide Gate 8. For Single Slide Gate: Slide the gate (28) through the gate opening of the actuator housing assembly (A). Once again, make sure the gate (28) slides fully through the opening. NOTE: Do not connect the gate (28) to the actuator (16) at this stage. Figure 2-19 Inserting the gate (Single slide gate assembly) 9.
Chapter 2: Installing the Automated Slide Gate Installing and Wiring the Local Module 1. Assemble the 4" x 6" module box (37) with the leg mounting bracket (38) using bolts and nuts. 2. Install the leg mounting bracket (38) to the tank leg (39) at a suitable height from the ground level and secure using provided hardware.
