How do I release the locking tab so that I can remove the light from the base in order to disassemble the lamp for shipping?
To release the locking tab on a Carex Light for disassembly, locate the locking tab where the adjustable height arm connects to the lamp head. Ensure the lamp is on a stable surface with the lens facing down. Press or disengage the locking tab (as shown in step 3b) to detach the arm and base from the lamp head.

The base stand has come loose from the upright support. It's wobbly. I can't get it to lock back in place. What should I do?
To fix a loose base stand on a Carex Day-Light:
1. Lay the Day-Light with the lens facing upward.
2. Position the base into the recessed groove of the base plate, aligning the hole in the base plate with the hole in the base.
3. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to securely tighten the screws into the light base. Ensure the screws are tight but do not overtighten to avoid stripping them.
4. Carefully lift the assembled unit and stand it upright.
If the issue persists, inspect for any damage or missing parts and contact your dealer for assistance.
