Overview
The Cable Matters Duplex AC Wall Receptacle is the ideal solution for creating
a centralized charging station at any wall receptacle in the home or office. It
replaces a single-gang duplex outlet. This convenient wall receptacle provides
multiple options for charging portable devices with dual grounded 15A AC
outlets and dual 2A USB charging ports.

Wiring Instructions
Caution:
Turn off the power at the electrical service panel before and verify with a voltage
meter before installing!
* Verify that the power has been turned off with a voltage meter.
* Remove the existing receptacle and disconnect the black, white and green wires.
* Reserve the screws from the wall box for later.
* Strip approximately 1/2 inch of insulation from the wire, if necessary.
* Loosen the screws to the 'L', 'N', and 'G' terminals.
* Insert the neutral/white wire into the terminal marked 'N' and the live/black wire
into the terminal marked 'L' and tighten the screws.
* Loop the ground/green wire clockwise about 2/3 of the way around the G
terminal and tighten the screw.
* Verify that all wires are properly
connected and align the receptacle
before attaching the screws to the
wall box.
* Remove the protective film cover and
snap on the faceplate. Turn on the
power and test with a voltage meter
before using.

1: Feed wires through the
electrical box and wire the
receptacle according to the
wiring instructions above.
2: Install the receptacle using
screws to mount it to the
electrical box.

Note: Remove protective film sheet before using.
3: Snap on the faceplate.
Turn the power ON and verify with a volt
meter that the receptacle is working.

﹒Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended

﹒Use a voltage tester to verify that the power is turned off
﹒Requires 12-14 AWG copper (not aluminum) wire
﹒Requires minimum 16-cu" single gang electrical box
﹒Designed for indoor use only in dry locations
Important Note: Consult a qualified electrician for installation in a
split-circuit or middle-of-run electrical receptacle with more than
one set of wires.
Removal instructions:
1: Insert a at blade screw driver in one of the
slots at the bottom of the faceplate.
2: Rotate the screw driver to release the
faceplate from the receptacle.
