    WARRANTY The start of the guarantee comes into effect on the day of commissioning, providing the documents are received within 15 days at most.     CHAPTER 3 3 - GENERAl SAFETy 3.1 - FOREWORD For safe  usage,  follow  the  instructions  in  this  chapter  and  in  the  rest  of  this  manual. You  must  also  obey  the  legislation applying to safety precautions, accident prevention, the labour code and the highway code. Thorough knowledge and a good understanding of the safety rules are also necessary to use the machine safely and properly.

  • Page 38 – SERVICING – 7.2.2.2 Removing and fitting pipes IMPORTANT The following instructions must be observed: • Always ensure that the pipes are clean. • The pipes must always be fitted so that in all circumstances,  ◊  they are not subject to tension.  ◊  there is no compression of short lengths. ◊  there are no external mechanical forces applied to the hydraulic pipes.  ◊  Avoid rubbing, attach them correctly. If necessary, protect the pipes with protective sheaths  Protect sharp edges. ◊   the bend radii do not cause the pipes to be pinched.  CAUTION Risk of damage to the soft pipes by tearing due to incorrect installation Take photos before removing in order to restore the original configurationwhen installing.

  • Page 42 – ENVIRONMENTAl PROTECTION – To reduce the risk of drift • Undertake  spraying  early  in  the  morning  or  late  in  the  evening  (there  is  usually  less  wind  at these times of day) • use anti-drift nozzles. • Maintain an exact boom height: the risk of drift reduces as the line of nozzles approaches  the target being treated. • Reduce the speed of forward movement (less than 8 km/hour – 5 mph). • Respect the recommended spraying distances for each phytosanitary product. ► When wind speed exceeds 3 metres/sec, take additional measures to reduce drift.
