Symptom
Block mosaic pattern appears.
The output sound is intermittent.
Action to take
• The heads may be dirty; carry out head
cleaning. (See page 16.)
• The tape may be recorded in LP mode. This
unit cannot play back tapes recorded in LP
mode.
It is not possible to play back an LP-recorded
tape.
