    Cooking rice (white, brown, or quick) Rinse the rice to remove the excess starch, then drain. Make sure that the outside of the cooking pot is dry and free of debris, then place it into your cooker. Add the rice and water. Using the measuring cup that came with your cooker, you can add between 2 and 10 cups of uncooked rice.

    To manually start or stop the temperature preservation mode: • Press the Keep Warm button. 0 to 12 hours appear on the display. After 12 hours, -- -- appears on the display and your cooker returns to Standby mode. • Press the Keep Warm button again to turn off the temperature preservation mode.
