To remove, press the release button (1) and pull out the battery (2).

Pull out the mains plug from the power outlet.
Information to ensure a long battery service life
The battery and charger will heat up during the charging process. This is perfectly normal.
The best charging practice is to fully discharge the battery prior to charging. Let the
charging process run until its completion.
If the batteries are not used for a prolonged period, store batteries fully charged and in a
cool location (10°C-25°C).
Note:
Reduced operating times after recharging indicates that the battery is worn out.
The battery must then be replaced.
