9. Preparation of the remote control

The range of the remote control is 6 m at most. Observe that no objects (such as furniture) are located between the
remote control and the soundbar, since this may impair the transmission potential.
At initial commissioning, the battery of the remote control is protected from discharge by an isolation film.
Remove the film before use by pulling it out of the remote control's battery compartment.
Do not use the remote control near any other products that produce infra-red radiation, since this may im-
pair the remote control's function. Otherwise, other remote controls can be impaired by this remote control
if it is operated near them.
Battery Change
If the remote control no longer functions properly or the range reduces, the battery is discharged and must be replaced
with a new one of the same type.
1 Remove the safety screw at the bottom of the remote control and push on the battery lid.
2 Remove the discharged battery and insert a new 3 V-Lithium button cell CR2032. The correct polarity is indicated
in the battery compartment.
3 Push the battery compartment lid onto the remote control and secure it again with the previously removed safety
screw.
