Safety Notes
Make sure that the lawnmower is switched off and cannot start accidentally before
assembling the Mulch Set. Unplug electric lawnmower from mains supply before
assembling. Make sure that fuel cannot leak while tilting petrol-driven
lawnmowers. Please read the instruction manual most carefully.
Assembling
1. According to the view on page III, first thread the enclosed nylon fibres (4),
into the holes on the edge of the mulch plate (6).
2. You will find included three reducing rings (1) with different inner diameter.
Use the ring that fits exactly into the blade shaft.
3. First mount the spacer disc (2) on the blade, then the mulch plate (6) with
suitable reducing ring (1) and finally the metal disc (5). Turn the mulch plate
to 90° to the blade so that they form a cross. The ends of the nylon fibres
have to be upturned. Fix all parts with the screw that mount the blade with the
blade shaft of the lawnmower.
4. Before using the mulch set cut the nylon fibres (4) to an adequate length.
Tense the nylon fibres and cut them 2 cm shorter than the lawnmower
housing.
