    1.4 Safety instructions (1)The said equipment operators refer to all personnel who participate in operation,inspection and maintenance etc. (2)The equipment operator must possess satisfactory understanding of the Operation manual. (3)The owner has the duty and obligation to educate all operation personnel with the safety instructions of the Operation Manual for the equipment.

    1.5Safety instructions in transport, storage and installation (1)The equipment must be placed and handled by professionals. (2)Please use designated tools (steel cable, crane, hoist etc.) to lift the equipment according to designated sequence and method. (3) Authorized staff only for lift operation. (4) In order to prevent serious injury accidents, no one is allowed to be under the equipment during hoisting.

    1.7Personal protection (1) All the mechanical equipments manufactured by Jiangsu MuyangCo., Ltd has safety devices that are consistent with modern technical frontier and generally effective safety rules prior to shipping out, so that the customers can use the machines in accordance with the regulations. (2) If the operators employed lack of communication skills, the owner has the responsibility to explain to them clearly where dangers exist and warn them that special attention should be exercised.

    1.8 Explosion Protection: Countermeasures against dust explosion and fire hazard (1)General housekeeping ①Keeping the work place with combustible dust free is an important condition for safe production. ② Try not to pile bagged or bulk materials between machines. ③ In order to reduce dust emission to surrounding areas, all conveying devices, air pipes,filter bags should be kept in good condition without any leakage especially pipes and covers of the conveying devices.
  • Page 15 ③It is necessary to immediately repair or replace the electric apparatus and equipment if any failure occurs. ④The cables without conduits are not allowed to be installed on the floor. ⑤Cut off the power supply of the machine after work. ⑥An electrician should be assigned to check the insulation of all the power lines of electric network according to relevant regulations, at least once a year.

    2 General Description MuyangSZLH550×170pellet mill is an advanced mill manufactured by Muyang. The entire manufacturing process is in full compliance with international technical standards. 2.1Application and adaptability (1) This pellet mill is specially used for animal feed processing, generally for processing powdery, flowable and easily pelletized materials into feed pellets for poultry, livestock, fish and special aquatic feed.

    3.3.2Conditioner (1)The conditioner is composed of a motor, a main shaft, paddles, a shell, a steam inlet and a molasses inlet, etc. (2)The conditioner housing is made of stainless steel while the paddles are made of high alloy wear resistant material. Steam is generated from a boiler.The pressure of steam provided by the boiler shall not be less than 0.7MPaand the steam quantity is calculated on the basis of 50 kg per ton pellet plus loss. Generally, the steam pressure in the main pipe shall not be less than 0.7MPaand the pressure of steam into the conditioner after reducing valve is within 0.1~0.4Mpa.

    4.2 Installation 4.2.1Installation of the principal machine (1) Unpacking and inspection ①When the machine arrives at the destination, unpack and check it over carefully if any signs such as collision or rubbing occur during the transportation. ②Check the documents and accessories attached against the packing list.Make a complete record with pictures.
