THIS MANUAL IS PREPARED FOR MORE THAN ONE MODEL IN COMMON. YOUR APPLIANCE MAY NOT HAVE SOME OF THE FEATURES THAT ARE EXPLAINED IN THIS MANUAL.
- Page 6 2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised. - WARNING: Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
- Page 7 2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock. - CAUTION: Accessible parts may be hot when the cooking or grilling is in use. Young children should be kept away.
- Page 8 - Do not try to lift or move the appliance by pulling the door handle. - All possible security measures have been taken to ensure your safety. Since the glass may break, you should be careful while cleaning to avoid scratching. Avoid hitting or knocking on the glass with accessories.
- Page 9 - When you unpack the appliance, make sure that it is not damaged during transportation. In case of any defect; do not use the appliance and contact a qualified service agent immediately. As the materials used for packaging (nylon, staplers, styrofoam...etc) may cause harmful effects to children, they should be collected and removed immediately.
- Page 10 - During usage, the outer and inner surfaces of the oven get hot. While opening the oven door, step back to avoid the hot steam coming out of the oven. There may be a risk of burns. - Do not put flammable or combustible materials, in or near the appliance when it is operating.
- Page 11 - When the door or drawer of the oven is open, do not leave anything on it. You may unbalance your appliance or break the cover. - Do not put heavy things or flammable or ignitable goods (nylon, plastic bag, paper, cloth...etc) into the drawer.

- Page 13 3. INSTALLATION PRIOR TO INSTALLATION , ENSURE THAT THE LOCAL DISTRIBUTION CONDITIONS AND THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE APPLIANCE ARE COMPATIBLE. After removing the packaging material from the appliance and its accesories ensure that the hob is not damaged. If you suspect any damage do not use the appliance and contact a qualified technician immediately.
- Page 14 Create a space to install your hob , following the dimensions indicated on figure. *100 mm from edge of cooker to combustible materials. *700 mm underside of overhead cupboards, shelving * 650mm underside of overhead exhaust fans. This appliance must be installed according to the manufacturers installation instructions, local building regulations, gas authority codes and electrical wiring instructions.

Furthermore, make sure that all connections are done according to the national legal requirements for gas appliances.

- Page 18 Electrical Connection Of Your Hob Before proceeding with the electrical connection verify that : * The current carrying capacity of the system and the socket is adequate for the maximum power rating of the hob. * The voltage indicated on the capacity label is the same as the supply voltage * Do not use for connection any reductions , adapters or shunts because they may cause overheating.

USAGE 4.1 Usage of Your Gas Burners Manual Ignition and Controlling the Gas Burners; To ignite one of the burners , approach a match to its upper circumference and push the corresponding conrol knob and turn it counter clock-wise.Medium regulation of the flame will be obtained by turning the control knob between maximum position ( big flame) and the minimum position ( small flame ) The small diagrams situated on the control panel indicate to the gas burners in use.
- Page 20 Flame Failure Device; Hobs equipped with flame failure device provide security in case of accidentally extingnished flame. If such a case occurs, the device will block the burners gas channels and will avoid any accumulation of unburned gas. Wait 90 seconds before re-igniting an extinguished gas burner.
- Page 21 GAS CONVERSIONS Transformation For The Gas Cookers Replacement Of Injectors The gas burners adapt to different types of gas, by replacing the corresponding injectors to gas on use . There fore it is necassery to; * Cut off the feeding gas flow and electric current. * Remove the cap and the adapter.
- Page 22 * With the help of a small screwdriver fasten or loosen the by pass screw 90°,which makes the flame of the burner reduce to the minimum. When the flame has a length of at least 4 mm , the gas is well distributed. Make sure that the flame does not die out when passing from the maximum position to the minimum position.
- Page 23 6. MAINTENANCE & CARE When you notice an abnormal situation in your appliance, you may attempt to troubleshoot according to the following descriptions. If your appliance does not still operate properly, contact to Vestel Call Center. You may access the authorized services list from the web site. Cleaning: Before cleaning disconnect the hob from the electricity supply if there is and close the main gas supply.
