Important Safety Information WARNING! • The product manufactured by us is safe provided they are installed, used and maintained in good working order in accordance with our instructions and rec- ommendations. Always refer to this manual if you have any doubt. • The product must be earthed. Improper grounding could cause electrical shock. • If any of the following conditions occurred as shown below, immediately switch off the power supply and contact the service center for repair. Never attempt to repair the product by yourself. − If the product begins to make an odd noise, smell or smoke. − POWER Indicator Lamp does not light up. − If water temperature cannot be controlled. − If the product shows signs of a distinct change in performance. − If water leak from inside of the product. • When the product is used by someone such as child, elderly person, sick person or physically handicapped person, the concern person is requested to pay atten- tion and check the water temperature by using hand from time to time. Installation Procedures Heater Installation Select a suitable position in the bathroom. Remove the screw at the bottom of the Heater. Remove the Front Cover by lifting the bottom upward. Mark the 3 mounting points of the Heater Base on the wall. NOTE: The Heater position should be 1.5m above the bathroom floor. - Page 5 Electrical Connection WARNING! • The product must be earthed. Improper grounding could cause electrical shock. • Make sure the electrical mains is switched off before carrying out any electrical work. • Refer to Wiring Loading Table for the correct cable size. • Use at least 2.5mm double coated cable. • Lead the power cable from the MCB to a “ON/OFF” double pole linked switch having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles outside the bathroom, then lead a cable connected to terminal block inside the unit. (see Fig. 2) Insert the cable through the rubber grommet for side entry or wall embedded entry. Connect the cable to terminal block and fully tighten them as follow (see Fig. 3): BROWN or RED --- LIVE ( L ) BLUE or BLACK --- NEUTRAL ( N ) GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW --- EARTH (...
