Note: If nutritional therapy has already been started, set the nutrition pumps
within the system to the appropriate rates and drugs before entering the first
blood glucose values and then switch on. This allows the nutritional data to be
included in the first calculation of the insulin dose rate.
Attention: The blood glucose measuring device used must be validated for use in
an intensive care unit.
2. Enter weight of patient and
confirm with OK.
