To correct
this error, the cursor must be moved back one position
(under the second 1) so that character can be rekeyed. Now, press
the backspace key

execute the problem, press the following keys:
Delete a Character
To delete a character, you also use the backspace k e y . or the
forward space key

to position the cursor. Once the cursor is in
the position of the character to be deleted (the character is flashing),
hold down the CMD key and press the backspace k e y . once.
The character is then deleted, and any characters to the right are
shifted one position to the left to close up the space left by the
deletion.
For example, you want to do the problem 13+45, but you press the
following keys:
CJOOCJ08
