Recommended Power Supply Redundancy Scheme - Avaya P333T-PWR Recommended Redundancy Scheme

Warning: Make sure that you connect the cables between the P333T-PWR and the
external power supply correctly:
Positive ("+") to positive ("+")
Negative ("-") to negative ("-")
Warning: Make sure that you use cable conductors that have the ampacity of not less
than 125 percent of the total conducted load.

Recommended Power Supply Redundancy Scheme

In order to ensure full power supply redundancy for both data switching and Inline
power, you can use an Avaya P330 BUPS (Backup Power Supply) and an external
Inline DC power supply shelf (made by APC, providing isolated 54 VDC) that also
provides additional Inline power (see Figure 2).
Note: Avaya recommends using the APC (Advanced Power Conversion PLC) Front
End AC-DC Power Shelf (catalog number APC-R2400A111) populated with APC
800W PSUs (catalog number APC-A0800-085-545-CA1).
This power shelf can house up to three 800W power supplies, yielding up to 2,400W
of external power. It can provide up to 405W of Inline power per P333T-PWR
switch. In a fully populated power shelf configuration, you can provide additional
Inline power to 6 to 12 P333T-PWR switches (depending on configuration -- see
Table 3).
