Handle
P.203J
- To keep the handle in good aesthetic conditions
over time, avoid contact with vehicle wax and
hydrocarbons (mineral naphtha, oil, etc.).
- During assembly / disassembly operations and
ordinary maintenance, follow the safety rules
provided and wear suitable clothes (coats, goggles,
gloves, etc.).
- Lubricate the lock with Tribol 4020 - 460 - 2 grease
(grease with mineral base) every two months.
The P.203J handle is made by glass-fibre polyamide to guarantee a high resistance to atmospheric agents
and mechanical stresses. The gasket is made by soft FORPRENE and the metallic components are made
by stainless steel. Working temperature -10/+120 °C. The overall sizes and fixtures are shown in figures A

protection flap). If this lock is missing, it means you bought a J.O.K. type
lock P.474 must be purchased

of service manual "JOK System" - code 40712 inserted in this package.
PRIMA Industries Srl reject any responsibility if the instructions contained in
the above mentioned document are not fully observed: failing to do so could
make the handle unusable.
The key bears the recognition code; if lost apply to PRIMA for a replacement.

From the outside, it can
be opened (clockwise)

The knob goes back to
the original position.
1 - Make sure the gasket fits the handle profile and
insert the handle in its special housing in the door (use
of adhesive silicone will not damage the gasket).
2 - Apply the fixing spessors and the cover P.242 follow-
ing the indications specified in fig. C (the spessors and
the cover are supplied on request by PRIMA code69547).
3- Fasten the handle to the door by using four
self-threading screws M5. Tighten the screws to a 0.7
Kgm - 5 Ftlbs max driving torque.
4 - Apply the connecting rods P.99 or P.116 or P.118 to
the corresponding locks P.238 and to the cam, blocking
them with adequate C-clip P.94 (this one is just assem-
bled on the components). The rods have a direction
(right or left) and their length can be adjusted by using
the setting folds (see. fig.D).
5 - Connect the internal handle to the connection man-
ifold. Please align the handle coupling teeth with the
corresponding seats onto the manifold.

1 - Pull out the internal knob, opening the coupling teeth with screwdriver.
2 - Release the connecting rods from the joint P.94 and remove them from the driving cam.
3 - Loosen and remove the four self-threading screws.
4 - Pull the handle body out of the door.
This product is conform to the following norms in force: UN ECE R107/06; Directive 2000/53/EC; Directive 2003/11/EC;
UN ECE R118.2; FMVSS 302; ROHS; REACH; GADSL; PAH; CONFLICT MINERALS RULES.
The disposing of the product must be done conforming to the Directive 2000/53/EC and to the laws in force into the
Country where it's done, taking care the symbols for recycling included (where possible) on the single parts.
The abusive disposing from the user means the application of the administratif penalties foreseen from the national
current norm. The separated collection and recycling allow to reduce the consumption of the natural resources,
besides to safe the environment and protect the human health.
