INSTALLATION FIGURE – GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Modular Fume Hood is a reliable and practical solution to contain and extract welding, cutting, arc gouging and grinding fume from the work environment. It is designed to connect to an external extraction/filtration system. The hood can be hung from the ceiling or mounted on legs.

To mount the Modular Fume Hood proceed as fol- lows: Refer to “A-TOP”, “B-BOTTOM” and “C-BOTTOM SINGLE COMPARTMENT END” markings on the panels for easy identi- fication and assembly.

MODULAR FUME HOOD™ OPERATION OPERATION The Modular Fume Hood is placed over the working area and has to be connected to an external extraction/filtration system. The bottom roof panels work as a deflector plate, directing the airflow to the slots of the hood. The extracted air leaves the hood in the middle through one or two connection flanges mounted on top.
