3 ISTRUZIONI PER IL DISIMBALLO I subwoofer sono stati imballati in modo tale da preservarli efficacemente e al tempo stesso rendere semplice la loro estrazione. Suggeriamo comunque di seguire le seguenti raccomandazioni generali: • conservare tutto il materiale di imballaggio per ogni futuro trasporto; • non indossare orologi, braccialetti, anelli ecc. per evitare di graffiare il subwoofer e le sue finiture durante il disimballo. This subwoofer has been designed to immediately offer the maximum level of satisfaction, but since we want you to obtain the best possible listening result in full safety, please read this instruction manual carefully before installation. Should you have any doubts or enquiries, please contact your sales point's technical staff or the official Sonus faber distributor in your country, or contact Sonus faber directly. Enjoy your music! 1.2 WARRANTY The Sonus faber subwoofers are designed and manufactured to meet the highest quality standards. Should, however, a fault or a malfunction occur, the subwoofers are covered by warranty, in compliance with the legislation in force in the country where the subwoofers were purchased. 3 UNPACKING INSTRUCTION The Sonus faber subwoofer has been packed in a manner that effectively preserves it, while making its removal simple. We suggest, however, that you follow the following general recommendations: • keep all packaging material for future transport; • do not wear any watches, bracelets, rings, etc., in order to avoid scratching the subwoofer during unpacking. Carefully protect the subwoofer from contact with any metal finishes of clothing worn, such as zips, buttons, buckles, rivets, etc. 3.1 UNPACKING THE SUBWOOFER Perform the unpacking operations as indicated by the images in Section 7 (Illustrations). The subwoofer could be very heavy. To prevent injuries, lift it with caution and, if necessary, request the help of a second person. Check the product to make sure it is not damaged. 4.2 CONNECTION OPTIONS For the connection of the subwoofer to the audio system, refer, depending on the model, to one of the schemes in Section 7 (Illustrations). 4.3 CONTROLS – ADJUSTMENT VIA THE APP (products provided with this feature, only) The subwoofer has an advanced built-in digital control system. The conventional analogue rotary potentiometers and selector switches (with exception of the volume control) have been replaced by a digital signal processor (DSP), which allows easy and accurate adjustment of the subwoofer. With the aid of a customised smart app, it is possible to easily adjust all parameters, from the volume to the cut-off frequency, up to the phase and automatic calibration function. The digital control system also eliminates the risk of undesired modification to the controls and settings. Note: to configure and use the subwoofer, an Android or iOS device with low energy Bluetooth 4.0 is necessary. The "GRAVIS SUB CONTROL" app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store sites. 3 AUSPACKEN Die Subwoofer sind so verpackt, dass sie wirksam geschützt und sich gleichzeitig leicht entnehmen lassen. Trotzdem empfehlen wir, die folgenden allgemeinen Hinweise zu befolgen: • Sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial für einen etwaigen zukünftigen Transport aufbewahren; • Keine Uhren, Armbänder, Ringe usw. tragen, um zu vermeiden, dass der Subwoofer und dessen Verzierungen beim Auspacken verkratzt werden. 2.1 AUTRES INFORMATIONS DE SÈCURITÈ Installez le subwoofer de manière en assurer la meilleure stabilité possible. Si le subwoofer est positionné sur une surface autre que celle du plancher, vérifiez d'abord qu’elle peut résister à son poids. Vérifiez également qu'il y a suffisamment de friction entre le subwoofer et la surface: cela évitera tout mouvement causé par les vibrations pendant l'utilisation. 3 INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE DÉBALLAGE Les subwoofers ont été emballés de façon à les préserver efficacement tout en simplifiant leur déballage. Nous recommandons en tout cas de suivre les recommandations générales suivantes: • conservez tout le matériau d’emballage pour d’éventuels transport futurs; • ne portez pas de montre, bracelets, bagues, etc. afin d'éviter de rayer les enceintes et leurs finitions lors du déballage. Protégez le subwoofer avec le même soin de tout contact avec les finitions métalliques des vêtements portés, tels que les charnières, les boutons, les boucles de ceinture, les rivets, etc. 3.1 DÉBALLAGE DU SUBWOOFER Effectuez les opérations de déballage comme indiqué dans les images du chapitre 7 (Illustrations). - Page 26 Bouton d'appariement sans fil: utilisé pour faire correspondre le récepteur interne du subwoofer à l'émetteur sans fil en option. 4.2 OPTIONS DE CONNEXION Pour la connexion du subwoofer au système audio, reportez-vous aux images du Chapitre 7 (Illustrations), en fonction du modèle spécifique. 4.3 COMMANDES - RÉGLAGE AVEC L’APPLICATION Le subwoofer est équipé d'un système de contrôle numérique intégré de pointe. Les potentiomètres et les sélecteurs rotatifs analogiques conventionnels (à l'exception du contrôle du volume) ont été remplacés par un processeur de signal numérique (DSP), qui permet un ajustement pratique et précis du subwoofer. A l’aide d'une application intelligente personnalisée pour votre appareil, vous pouvez facilement ajuster tous les paramètres, du volume à la fréquence de réduction, à la phase et à la fonction d'étalonnage automatique.
