Page 2 Introduction: The range of “Room Distribution Units” (RDU’s) are designed to be mounted directly on top of a “Vapac Steam Humidifier”. Essentially they consist of a stainless steel manifold, and a number of axial fans contained in a metal box. The steam manifold distributes the steam evenly across the face of the fans, which blow air over the plumes of steam, in order that the steam is absorbed quickly into the conditioned space.
Page 3 Remove the RDU cover by removing the six screws – 3 each side – and lifting the cover clear. • Place the RDU on top of the Vapac Unit, so that the steam outlet of the unt and the steam inlet of the RDU are aligned.
