ADJUSTING THE KNIFE GUIDE AND COUNTERPRESSURE BEARINGS
The machine has a blade guide that prevents the blade from deflecting laterally during cutting and 2 counterpressure
bearings that support the rear edge of the blade and prevent it from deflecting due to cutting pressure.
1.
Use the 3 mm Allen wrench to loosen the screws in positions D, E, F, G and H.
2.
Slide the blade guide carriage (I) as necessary to align the guide pins (J) with the flat side of the blade. The
guide pins must not come into contact with the blade teeth. When the blade holder is in the correct position,
tighten the pressure screw D.
3.
Move the guide pins as necessary so that the ends are as close to the blade as possible. When the guide pins
are in the correct positions, tighten screws E and F.
4.
Slide the upper backpressure bearing (K) so that it is as close as possible to the rear edge of the blade (X), but
without pushing against it. When the backpressure bearing is in the correct position, tighten the setscrew G.
5.
Slide the lower backpressure bearing (L) so that it is as close as possible to the rear edge of the blade, but
without pushing against it. When the backpressure bearing is in the correct position, tighten screw H.
