Rack supports hot-swappable Media Converter modules. It can work with single power supply or
dual power supply. The power supplies can be plugged / unplugged online.

Installation


Unpack the consignment and please check the devices with packing list

Converters are installed in the rack. Check if all the screws are secured

The blank slots are covered with blanking flaps

Check the card-type converters are fully and firmly fit in the chassis, fasten the screws

Insert the RJ45 twisted pair in the Ethernet port of converter and insert the fiber cable in the fiber
port of the converter

Connect AC socket of SMPS with a voltage input, range from 100 to 260V AC or a DC outlet with
a voltage of 48V DC. Then turn the power switch ON, the "POWER LED" Lamps in the chassis
will glow green. The POWER LED may be in the front or back side. Check if the SMPS fans are
on

The LED Indicators of converters installed in chassis should indicate valid network connections
and working status

If the chassis is with dual power supply, please turn on both the Power supplies
