FAULT FINDING
If your central heating system does not switch on then check the
following:
1.
The time clock is in the ON position.
If the time clock is within the normal ON period then check
that the selector switch is in the timed position.
2.
The room thermostat (if fitted) is turned UP.
Turn the room thermostat (if fitted) to it's maximum setting
and listen for the 'click' to indicate that it is now on.
3.
The mains supply is ON.
Check that the indicator lights on the Energy Saver are
ON. If not a fuse may have blown.
If checks 1 to 3 prove satisfactory then switch the BYPASS switch
on the Energy Saver to the BYPASS position. If the boiler
operates then leave the switch in this position and contact your
installer. If the boiler still refuses to operate then there is probably
a fault with it, once again contact your installer.

Modulating and twin sensor controlled boilers
Modern boilers can benefit from the installation of a Boiler Energy
Saver. However the set up to achieve the maximum saving is more
crucial than standard system boilers.
The flow temperature setting on the Boiler Energy Sensor should
ideally be set at 1°C below the set temperature of the boiler
thermostat.
Setting the boiler temperature just above the Boiler Energy Saver
temperature is very important as this ensures that the Energy Saver is
in control of the boiler firing pattern.
