Cyrus AVRS7.2 with DAB
Remote control upgrade
Your Cyrus product includes a new, upgraded remote control, the
AVRS7.2. This is a new design, replacing the remote control illustrated in
the handbook. The AVRS7.2 has additional features and now controls a
wider range of products from the Cyrus range, sending commands to DAB
radios as well as FM tuners, and with additional commands in place for
new audio-visual products. Please refer to this instruction sheet for remote
control operation in place of those in the user instructions for your product.
AVRS7.2 System select keys
System select keys
Commands may be sent to different system components by selecting the
appropriate system select key on the handset. These keys are marked
CD, TU/DAB, AV, AV-S and SETUP. The CD, TU/DAB, AV, AV-S keys
will flash when any command is transmitted to show which type of product
is under control. Commands to a Surround Decoder from the SETUP
system will flash the AV-S indicator.
TU/DAB key
The TU/DAB key of the AVRS7.2 has two modes of operation and may be
switched to control a Cyrus DAB radio or a Cyrus FM tuner. To change
between DAB or FM operation, hold down the TU/DAB key for 3 seconds
until the light changes colour. The key will light yellow when set for DAB
commands or red when set for FM tuner commands.
NOTE:- The FM band of a DAB radio is not selected in this way, the
BAND key is used for this purpose.
