The combiner, Figure 2-5, is then attached to the free end of the horizontal bar (see also Figure 2-6).

A good test antenna is the single log periodic which may be mounted on the white plastic mounting pillar (see Figure 4-1). Calibration values are derived during testing that are specific to each set of hardware.
