OMMON WASHING PROBLEMS
Problem...
Washer leaks
Washer won't
drain/spin
Wet loads
Washer continues
to fill/drain or
cycle stuck
NOTE: Washer
pauses briefly
throughout each
cycle. This is normal.
Washer makes
noise
Won't fill/rinse/
agitate or wrong
temperature
Cause...
Hose not properly attached to the faucet
adapter.
Water inlet hoses not tight.
Inlet hose washers not properly seated.
Drain is clogged.
During wash or rinse fill, the water is
deflecting off load. Washer is overloaded
or load is unbalanced.
Drain hose is kinked or clogged.
Lid is open.
Too much detergent – excessive sudsing.
Low voltage or using an extension cord.
Wrong cycle for load being washed.
Cold rinses.
Top of drain hose is lower than water
level in washer.
Load is unbalanced.
Washer is not level.
Gears engaging after drain and
before spin.
Power cord not plugged in.
Lid is open.
Washer in Pause status.
Water is turned off.
Hot and cold hoses are reversed.
Hoses are kinked.
Solution...
Check faucet connection. See
"Washer Installation."
Tighten hoses. See "Washer
Installation."
"Reseat (reposition) washers. See
"Washer Installation."
Unclog drain.
Redistribute the load, or reduce
load size.
Straighten or unclog hose.
Close the lid.
Use less detergent.
Check electrical source or call
electrician. Do not use extension
cords.
Choose a cycle with a higher spin
speed.
Cold rinses leave loads wetter than
warm rinses. This is normal.
Raise the drain hose. It must be
higher for proper operation.
Redistribute load.
Level washer.
This is normal.
Plug in power cord.
Close the lid.
Push the Start/Pause button to start
the washer.
Turn on water.
Reverse hoses.
Straighten hoses.
