Mehaco Hyundai / Kia KeyProg v1.8 HW4 Quick Start Manual

Hyundai / KiaKey Prog works in manual mode and automatic mode.
In automatic mode, this device scans the PIN-code and programs the key. If the PIN-code
was not found, the programming mode is possible in manual mode only.
In manual mode, the device must be connected to any computer via USB port for recording
PIN-code into the device. The code can be counted by the calculator according to the VIN or
you can order PIN-code from your dealer. After that you can quickly program the key.
1. Insert the key, turn on the ignition and plug the device.

2. About 30-40 seconds after the successful completion of
the procedure, the device beeps once and then three
beeps. After 2 seconds the Immo indicator will light up on
the dashboard.

3. Press START button once.
4. Remove all keys from the car.
5. Plug «Hyundai / Kia KeyProg» to OBD-2 connector.
6. After 10 seconds, the device beeps once. Then press START button by the key twice!
7. When the procedure is successful, the device will beep once and then three beeps.
8. Unplug «Hyundai / Kia KeyProg» device.
9. On the Key press "Open" button then "Close" button. Triggering the door locks means the
programming was successful.
