    Thank you for choosing a Fireweed Baby Woven Wrap Baby Carrier; our goal is to help you carry your babies close. WARNING Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions can result in death or serious injury. Only use this carrier with children weighing between 8 and 35 pounds.
  • Page 4 Our wraps are recommended for babies, toddlers, and children weighing between 8 lbs (3.6kg) and 35 lbs (15.8 kg). Fireweed Baby Woven Wraps are perfectly designed to meet your carrying needs through to toddlerhood and beyond. Our wraps come in a variety of sizes to meet your needs and as such will be your most versatile option every time! Read and follow all printed instructions before use.

Babies at greatest risk of injury or airway obstruction include those born prematurely and those with respiratory problems. Please consult with your health care provider before use if your baby was born prematurely or suffers from respiratory illness or other respiratory problems.

  • Page 7 3) Gather the wrap in each hand, bringing it across your chest. Cross it over your back 4) Place one end (they are now called the tails of the wrap) over each shoulder.
  • Page 8 5) Pick up your baby and place her on your shoulder. Always hold your baby until he is held in place securely by the wrap. Slide your other hand up under the wrap so you can guide your baby’s body down into the wrap. 6) With one hand on your baby at all times, pull the fabric into place over her bottom and up over her shoulders.
  • Page 9 7) Tighten each tail securely by lifting the tail off your shoulder and pulling it until it is wrapped tightly across your back. One hand must stay on your baby at all times while you are tightening the wrap. 8) The tightened tails are brought down on each side of your baby and crossed underneath her bottom.

  • Page 12 Before you Back Carry: • -Be expert at using your wrap in a front carry • -Have a spotter on hand to help you keep your child in place until the wrap is secured • -Remember to always keep one hand on your child to hold him in place while tying the wrap.
  • Page 13 2) Position your baby on your back, being sure to keep one hand on your baby at all times. In this picture, we are demonstrating a hip scoot. 3) When you have your baby in position, be sure to spread the fabric snuggly over your baby and ensure you tuck fabric between you and your baby.
  • Page 14 4) You should have a seat that spreads across your baby’s back, from his shoulders down past his knees, like this 5) Holding the “long” tail between your knees, pull the “short” tail over your shoulder. Keep your baby held securely to you by holding him tight with the wrap at all times.
  • Page 15 6) Tighten the tail until you feel you have pulled out all the slack and pin the “short” tail between your legs. (Pictured in 7) 7) After placing the “short” tail in between your knees, you will now create a chest pass with your “long” tail. Pull the long tail across your chest, under the “short”...
  • Page 16 8) You will now have both tails over your shoulders, with multiple passes over your baby. Take this time to work out the slack along both rails (top and bottom seam) and ensure you have a good seat and a comfortable fit. 9) Once you have removed the slack, you are ready to finish and secure your carry.
