    B. Thermostat Stages The Wi-Fi web-programmable thermostat displays up to four stages of heat or cooling. If you have a heat pump, there could be as many as four stages of heat. The first stage is the compressor operating and Stage 1 will appear on the thermostat screen.

    Troubleshooting Power Loss The PNM Power Saver Wi-Fi thermostat is designed to withstand a power loss without the need of a battery backup. The thermostat responds to a power loss as follows: • All Thermostat Settings and Schedule Programming are stored to permanent memory and retained throughout the power loss.
