- Page 2 (figura 5), en este caso es indistinto el poner una primero que otra. Podemos orientar las bandas hacia abajo, evitan‐ do una excesiva compresión en el diafragma, facilitando la respiración. PRECAUCIONES: La ortesis siempre debe de utilizarse siguiendo las instrucciones del prescriptor y su adaptación debe de ser indivi‐ dualizada para cada paciente, haciéndose siempre por un profesional ortopédico o persona debidamente cualificada. Evite ejercer presiones excesivas con el velcro, especialmente después de las comidas. Aunque no se conocen efectos secundarios, consulte a su médico en caso de observar alguna irritación cutánea en la zona de aplicación. La combinación con otros productos u ortesis debe ser consultada y aprobada por el prescriptor. En caso de excesiva sudoración, recomendamos su uso con camisetas de algodón. No debe de ser utilizada en el descanso nocturno, y aconsejamos aflojar la tensión en un descanso diurno. La confección de la ortesis está realizada con productos inflamables, por lo que no exponga el producto a ninguna fuente de ignición. No exponga la prenda a ninguna fuente de calor que deteriore su diseño o los materiales con los que está confeccionada. ADVERTENCIAS: La composición de los materiales utilizados viene reflejada en la propia prenda. Procure cuando la prenda no es utili‐ zada, doblarla adecuadamente e introducirla en el envase. Para el desecho del producto o del envase, cumpla las instrucciones establecidas por las autoridades. Solo se recomienda el uso de la misma ortesis para un solo paciente, evite compartir la prenda con otro paciente, aún teniendo las mismas patologías. RECOMENDACIONES DE CONSERVACION Y LAVADO: Siempre cierre los velcros en el lavado, pegándolos entre sí. Lave periódicamente la prenda con un jabón neutro para prendas delicadas con agua a 30ºC. Para el secado, utilice una toalla o paño seco que absorba la humedad y déjelo secar con la temperatura ambiente. Nunca utilice la secadora, ni ninguna fuente de calor (ni la solar) para acelerar su secado. Los restos de detergentes pueden producir irritaciones, por lo que procure aclarar conveniente la ortesis. Nunca utilice alcoholes, ni quitamanchas, ni otro tipo de material para quitar las manchas. GARANTÍA: Ortoiberica S.L. garantiza sus productos atendiendo las disposiciones legales, siempre que no haya sido alterada la configuración inicial del producto. No se garantiza el producto que no haya sido usado correctamente, o que se hayan cambiando sus diseños iniciales. - Page 3 ENGLISH Dear Patient, We appreciate your trust in our company, to choose to use the lumbar orthosis Rectus. Before putting the orthosis, please read the operating instructions that follow. In case of doubt contact your doctor, your orthopedics, our web site (www.rectus.es), or with our customer support department. We reinforced our appreciation for your trust, de‐ siring a quick improvement of their health status. INDICATIONS: Back pain, pre and post‐surgery treatments, degenerative processes, muscle imbalance of the abdo‐ men/spine, mild disc degeneration. INSTRUCTIONS: Initially the orthosis should always be placed by an orthopedic technician or other medical profes‐ sional. To achieve effective results, the size should be selected appropriate to the patient (see the equivalence of sizes on the page 7 of this manual). An excessive compression and a little one can be harmful, so it is essential that the user set correctly the orthosis. The patient must put the orthosis on the lumbosacral area, trying to adjust it in the correct area. (See Figure 1 on page 6). The orthosis are composed of four elastic bands, where exists some hand support bands that allow the pa‐ tient to put the fingers to facilitate the placement of the orthosis. One of these hand support band has a grey colour, and the other three are dark red. Enter your fingers on the hand support bands of the lower bands (Figure 2), adjust‐ ing and focusing properly on the sacral lumbar area. When the orthosis is in position (Figure 3) fix first the grey hand support band. Then do the same with the dark red hand support band (Figure 4), correctly adjusting the compres‐ sion. Once properly located the two bands, do the same with the other two bands (Figure 5). It is indifferent the or‐ der of placing them. The bands can be shifted down in order to avoid an excessive compression at the diaphragm, making breathing easier. PRECAUTIONS: The use of the orthosis should always follow the instructions of the prescriber and her adaptation must be tailored for each patient, always accompanied by an orthopedic professional or a qualified person. Avoid applying too much pressure with velcro, especially after meals. So far there are known side effects, however, if you notice any irritation in the area of application of the orthosis, consult your doctor. The combination of lumbar orthosis Rectus with other products or orthoses should be consulted and approved by the prescriber. In case of excessive sweating, we recommend the use of orthosis with cotton shirts. Should not be used during sleep, and should be relief the pressure during the day. In preparation of the orthosis were used flammable, so you should not expose the product to any source of combus‐ tion. Do not expose your product to any heat source that deteriorates the shape or the materials that constitute it. WARNINGS: The composition of materials is detailed in the orthosis itself. When the orthosis is not being used, it should fold it properly and store it in the package. To discard the product or the packaging, follow the directions laid down by the authorities. Only recommends using the same orthosis for a single patient. Avoid share it with another user, even if he has the same diseases. ...

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE EN PLACE : Seul le personnel spécialisé qualifié est autorisé à poser le bandage pour la première fois. Pour obtenir une efficacité du produit, c’est nécessaire de choisir la taille correcte du patient (voir l’équivalence des tailles sur la page 7 correspondante de la présente notice). C’est autant nuisible une compression excessive qu’une compression minimale, et il convient de s’assurer que le bandage est ajusté correctement et qu’il se place bien. Le patient mettra l’orthèse sur la région sacro‐lombaire, en essayant de la placer sur la zone correcte. (figure 1 de la page 6). L’orthèse est composée de quatre bandages élastiques, sur lesquels on peut voir des tuteurs afin d’introduire les doigts pour mieux les placer.
