    DR5088RC DIGIDETECT 30.05.2019 3.3 Software installation After you successfully downloaded the software, it is important to unpack the downloaded file first and store it on your hard drive. Next, start the installation by double clicking “setup” or “setup.exe”. Ensure that you always have administrator on your PC.

First connect to the DR508888RC using the supplied USB cable. Windows will “detect” the new hardware and install the drivers.

Each detection point can be assigned any address within the total range of 2,048 detection points. There are 2 methods to provide the detection points with an address described on the following pages.

To do so, connect the DR5088RC to your control unit through a LocoNet cable. You must set your control unit to the desired start address by selecting the corresponding DCC change address.

In doing so, you connect the DR5088RC to your PC. Make sure that you connect the DR508888RC without connecting the TRACK INPUT! Once the DR5088RC is connected to the PC, in the configuration software you can select the desired output group.
