  • Page 16 OPENING AND CLOSING Slide the safety lock to the right to unlock Elnapress. Place the left hand on the fixed handle and the right hand on the movable handle. Raise the movable pressure lever with the right hand and accompany it until the maximum opening and at the same time exert, with the left hand, a slight downward force on the handle of the fixed lever.

    TURN ON ELNAPRESS AND ADJUST TEMPERATURE ELNAPRESS 150 / 250 With the press open, press the ON/OFF switch to turn the machine on. The power switch (green) and the red light will illuminate to indicate that the press is heating up.

    ELNAPRESS 450 With the press still open, press the digital pressure on/off button. The green and red lights will illuminate to indicate that the press is on and warming up. Turn the temperature regulator up to the desired level. When the right temperature is reached, the red light will switch off.

    At the same time the icon will light up green: Select the desired ironing program by pressing the + button several times. Elnapress 850 is able to manage two different temperature modes: 1. Manual in nylon, silk, wool mode 2. Using the new “Optimal Temperature” function. The function is activated automatically when “cotton”...

    ELNAPRESS 150 / 250 If Elnapress is left on when it is open and not used for 15 minutes, the electric current of the heating shoe is automatically switched off by sending repetitive and alternating “beep-beep” signals. To reactivate it, move downwards the fixed handle.

    The (force of) natural vaporization is obtained by combining the vaporization of the Vapojet, with the forces exerted by the Elnapress ironing board, the automatic pressure and the heat of the heating shoe.

    3) Place the garments on the board, spray the Vapojet lever several times and lower the heating shoe to create natural steam. N.B: you can perform the spraying operation even while you are lowering the heating shoe. For an optimal use of the Vapojet consult the video tutorial on www.elnapress.com.

    Place your hands on the surface of the Sleeve board and rotate it upwards. Once the locking device is activated, at the stroke end press firmly until you hear the click. (The video tutorial of this operation is available on www.elnapress.com ).

  • Page 24: Interchangeability System Of The Sleeve Board

    INTERCHANGEABILITY SYSTEM OF THE SLEEVE BOARD ELNAPRESS 850 Only for the 850 model is it possible to interchange the large sleeve board with the small one. The small sleeve board allows you to have more precision and is advisable to facilitate the ironing of garments or very small and/or narrow details.

    AFTER USE Turn off Elnapress following the instructions on page 17-19. Remove and empty the Vapojet. While the press is still hot, open it and close it several times to let the board cover and foam padding dry. Leave the press open until it is completely cold.

    N.B: The “beep-beep” is a safety device device that comes into operation if the press remains closed for more than 10 seconds and is NOT a heating shoe opening signal. Two Elnapress golden rules: 1. Get used to correctly positioning the item in the large space behind the ironing board.

  • Page 44 APERTURA E CHIUSURA Far scivolare la chiusura di sicurezza verso destra per sbloccare Elnapress. Posizionare la mano sinistra sull’impugnatura fissa e la mano destra sull’impugnatura mobile. Alzare con la mano destra la leva mobile di pressione accompagnandola sino alla massima apertura, esercitando contemporaneamente con la mano sinistra una leggera forza verso il basso sull’impugnatura della leva fissa.
  • Page 45 ACCENDERE ELNAPRESS E REGOLARE LA TEMPERATURA ELNAPRESS 150 / 250 Con la pressa aperta, premere l’interruttore ON/OFF per accendere la macchina. Si illumineranno l’interruttore di accensione (verde) e la spia rossa per indicare che la pressa si sta riscaldando. Girare il regolatore di temperatura fino al livello desiderato.

    ELNAPRESS 450 Con la pressa ancora aperta, premere il tasto di accensione e spegnimento a pressione digitale. Si illumineranno le spie verde e rossa per indicare che la pressa è accesa e si sta riscaldando. Girare il regolatore di temperatura fino al livello desiderato.

    Contemporaneamente si illuminerà di verde l’icona: Selezionare il programma di stiratura desiderato premendo più volte il tasto +. Elnapress 850 è in grado di gestire due differenti modalità di temperatura: 1. Manuale in modalità nylon, seta, lana. 2. La nuova funzione “Optimal Temperature”.     LUCE Solo per i modelli dotati di luce a led (consulta sito www.elnapress.com). La luce si accende e si spegne premendo il pulsante ON/OFF posto sotto la maniglia centrale (vedi foto 1). É possibile accendere o spegnere la luce anche quando la pressa è spenta.

    Contattare un centro assistenza autorizzato Elnapress (consultate il nostro sito internet www.elnapress.com ) SISTEMA VAPOJET Elnapress è dotata di un esclusivo sistema Vapojet per la formazione del vapore naturale. Il Vapojet consente di nebulizzare semplice acqua di rubinetto direttamente sui capi da stirare. La vaporizzazione naturale combinata alla pressione automatica e al calore della piastra scaldante rigenera le fibre del tessuto in profondità.

    3) Appoggiare i capi sull’asse, nebulizzare premendo più volte la leva del Vapojet e abbassare la piastra scaldante per creare vapore naturale. N.B: potete effettuare l’operazione di nebulizzazione anche mentre state abbassando la piastra scaldante. Per un utilizzo ottimale del Vapojet consultare i video tutorial presenti sul sito www.elnapress.com.

    Posizionare le mani sulla superficie dello stiramaniche e farlo ruotare verso l’alto. Una volta che il dispositivo di bloccaggio sarà attivato, a fine corsa premere con forza fino a sentire lo scatto. (Il video tutorial di questa operazione è disponibile su www.elnapress.com ).

    SISTEMA DI INTERCAMBIABILITÁ DELLO STIRAMANICHE ELNAPRESS 850 Solo per il modello 850 è possibile intercambiare lo stiramaniche grande con quello piccolo. Lo stiramaniche piccolo permette di avere maggiore precisione ed è consigliabile per facilitarvi la stiratura dei capi o dei particolari molto piccoli e/o stretti.

    DOPO L’USO Spegnere Elnapress seguendo le istruzioni di pag. 45-47. Togliere e vuotare il Vapojet. Mentre la pressa è ancora calda, aprirla e chiuderla varie volte per lasciare asciugare il telo copri asse e l’imbottitura. Lasciare la pressa aperta finché non sia completamente fredda.

    N.B: Ricordiamo che il “bip-bip” è un dispositivo di sicurezza che entra in funzione se la pressa resta chiusa per più di 10 secondi e NON un segnale di apertura piastra. Due regole d’oro Elnapress: 1. Abituarsi a posizionare correttamente il capo nell’ampio spazio dietro l’asse da stiro.

    Per pulire la piastra scaldante con il “liquido di pulizia” Elnapress: — Accendere Elnapress, posizionare la temperatura sulla seta. Una volta raggiunta la temperatura, staccare il cavo elettrico direttamente dalla pressa.
