740-0158A-A, LT-DPLS401 User Instruction 5. Startup Procedures 5.1. Power on When DC power is applied to the S200 satcom, both the S200 and the DPL Handset are powered up automatically. There is no need to press the power on/off key to do this. -

Placing a Call To place a call, the DPL handset and the S200 satcom must be powered on, have a network activated SIM card and be in contact with the Iridium satellite network. A phone number up to a maximum of 20 digits can be entered. The digits are displayed in a single row with the character size automatically adjusted to fit the LCD screen. -
