Finding TV Midpoints Step 4: Finding and marking the midpoints on TV top section (horizontal) and right side section (vertical). Using blue tape and pencil/pen to mark midpoints. Visually estimate the midpoint of TV top/horizontal section and place a 4 inch piece of tape along the outside TV border as shown in illustration A.

Maneuver template by placing around and behind top left corner of TV followed by bottom left corner. Once template is behind TV on the left side, slide gently toward the right and repeat process on the right side. The top/horizontal and right side (MP) midpoint markings on blue tape on wall will align with midpoint markings on template.
