ADIO MOUNTING LOCATION Mounting Surface The Hyperion Radio should be mounted indoors to a structurally solid surface. When selecting a mounting location, take care to ensure that there are no obstructions, especially solid metal surfaces in the immediate vicinity of the radio and antenna. We suggest a minimum 3 foot zone surrounding the area.
Attach the antenna to the radio and position for maximum reception. Cabling should be minimum CAT5 rated and at least 24AWG. Cabling Procedure Run a length of CAT5 or greater cabling from IHYP-PP180R-B to the Hyperion Radio. Crimp RJ45 connectors to each end of the ca- ble run if needed. Certify that the cabling meets the T-568A standard.
