iOS Module Instructions - Power-Pole C-Monster Pumps

What you will need

1. Laptop running Windows XP or newer.
2. Philips head Screw driver.
3. Access to your pump with power.
4. A Mini USB cable (not provided with your system)

iOS module upgrade procedures

1. Download and install the iOS module update from the Power-Pole website.
2. Open the setup.exe file and go through the set up process.
3. Run the Driver Setup; Start --> All Programs --> JL Marine --> iOS--> Driver Setup
4. Remove the (4) Phillips head bolts that hold the cover on the C-Monster motor assembly.
5. With the cover removed, disconnect the membrane switch ribbon wire from the circuit board by
gently pulling on it.

  • Page 3 9. Route the white antenna wire according to the photo to avoid signal interference. 10. Plug the pump cap ribbon wire back into the circuit board with dark side facing upward. 11. Connect the USB Cable to the motor’s circuit board and your computer. 9010 Palm River Road.
  • Page 4 12. Open the iOS boot loader program update , ; Start --> All Programs --> JL Marine --> iOS --> Upgrade Utility. You should see a screen such as the one below. 13. Put the Pump into program mode. This can be accomplished in one of two ways: 1.
