DEFROST

Heavy frost will influence the refrigerating of the refrigerator and increase the energy consumption. Thus,
defrosting is needed when the frost is as thick as 5 mm. Process for the manual defrost is as follows : take all
the food out of the compartment; uninstall the drawers and shelves; unplug the electronic power cord;
open the doors and wait for the thaw; wipe up the water with dry cloth.
Attention: Do not use any other equipment or method to accelerate the defrost process. It may damage the cooling
system.

DISCONNECTING THE REFRIGERATOR

After power failure, even in summer, the refrigerator can store food normally in several hours.
1. During a Power Failure
Do not put additional food in the refrigerator and avoid opening the door. If possible, place several bags
of ice into the top of the refrigerator to keep the contents cool
2. During a Vacation
Remove food that can be easily spoiled. If disconnected for an extended period of time, please defrost
the refrigerator, clean and wipe dry the inside of the refrigerator before using again
3. Refrigerator No Longer in Use
If the refrigerator is not to be used for an extended period of time, unplug the unit and clean the inside of
the refrigerator. It is recommended that the door remain open to help prevent odors possibly caused by
spoiled food
Important Note: Disconnecting the unit for an extended period of time may reduce the life expectancy of
the refrigerator. Please allow at least 5 minutes before plugging the refrigeator back in.
