Installation Process Please follow these steps to power up your device and test network/GPS connection – the activation may take up to 15 Minutes: Plug device into OBDII port. Start the vehicle, you should see green, yellow and red flashing LEDs on the front of the device. - Page 10 Syncing Your Device Below is a chart to show you the different states of your device. Installation & Support Car Link plugs directly into the vehicles OBDII port under the dash which is located within 3 feet of the driver’s seat – NO tools are required to access. For certain applications, the Car Link module may interfere with driver’s knees or the customer may want to hide the module.
