    It is also important to observe relevant local codes and regulations for health and safety and accident prevention. A) FIRE GUIDELINES Utilize the following fire safety guidelines when installing REC PE series modules: • REC PE Series modules have a Class C Fire Rating. A maximum slope of 5 in/ft is required to maintain the fire class rating.

E) MOUNTING REC PE Series modules are designed strictly for capturing solar radiation and are not suitable for installation as overhead or vertical glazing. The distance between the modules and the installation surface must be at least 10 cm (4 in) to ensure adequate cooling.
