    GATES Check gates are in excellent operating condition. Gates in poor operation will give you trouble and prematurely wear out. DELUXE HINGES Gates with automation need heavy duty hinges to handle the load. Designed for Sprint Gate, Deluxe bearing hinges are the finest farm CODE: G7-BBAT gate hinges available anywhere.
  • Page 6 BRACKETS GATE THIS Adjust the Post Brackets to fit the SIDE >>>> Gate Post width and tighten. Mount Post Bracket with bottom edge on the mark. (#4 previous page) Remove a Top Cover off a motor to find which one houses the electronic Control Board.

    BATTERY BOX NOTE Post Brackets are not supplied with Sprint Gate Kits. Two pieces of angle will do. Work out where the Battery Box will sit above Motor One. Start with the bottom Post Bracket and mount it to Gate Post. Attach the other angle bracket to the top mount on the battery box.

    SOLAR PANEL If the gate is shaded through the day, position the Solar Panel away from the gate. Using Tek screws mount Panel Bracket to the Solar Panel. Tek screw the Aerial on top of the Solar Panel Frame. Bolt the Solar Panel (facing north) to the Panel Post. Leave the carton covering the Panel.
  • Page 9 POWER UP MOTOR ONE Remove the Motor cover and the inner control board cover. Use a screwdriver to punch a hole in the cable entry point provided (right). Bottom View Run the battery cable from Battery Box to motor via the new hole. Then divert wire to left side through the hole used to route wires in the grey plastic base.
  • Page 10 CONNECT MOTOR TWO Red & Blue Cables Dig a channel for Conduit. Run the Figure 8 cable through Conduit. Connect Figure 8 cable to red & blue cables on both Motors. Motor One Use 0.75mm Figure 8, 2-core cable in conduit buried across driveway NOTE (not supplied).
  • Page 11 PROGRAMMING Digital Display Programming Buttons Scroll up Scroll down Position the gate half way between open/closed. Lock the Arm using the Key in front of Motor. Using the buttons (above) on the Control Board, Scroll to P030 & press Scroll to d002 & press OK. Display will show P030 Press the top button three (3) times.
  • Page 12 CONNECT THE REMOTE - - - - With gate closed showing ( Scroll to P027 & press OK Scroll to d000 & press OK Scroll to P005 & press OK When LEAr shows press the remote button. r000 shows first remote is connected. Repeat step 3 for extra remotes as needed.
  • Page 13 ACCESSORIES The standard Sprint Gate is operated with remote controls. Other accessories can easliy be added to automate its open/close function. Visitor control, automatic exit, improved security, control via mobile phones & more can quickly and easily be added to a Sprint Gate. If any 24V access control accessories are to be added, choose solar compatible accessories.
