o The appliance shall always be unplugged when not
in use, when left unattended (even for a short
time), in case of a malfunction and before cleaning
or maintenance.
o When the appliance is used in a bathroom, it shall
be unplugged after use since the proximity of
water presents a hazard even when the appliance
is switched off.
o To avoid fire, electric shock and personal injury, the
appliance, its cord or plug shall not be immersed
into water or any other fluid. Moreover, it shall not
be exposed to fire, excessive heat, splatting or
spray.
o The use of the appliance shall be avoided in or near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water, and with wet hands.
o The appliance must be disconnected from the
mains by pulling the plug, not the cord.
o A regular visual inspection of the appliance, its
cable and plug may prevent from a hazard.
o If deemed defective, no repair should be
attempted but by our service department. Any
upgrades or use of non-original spare parts or
components poses a potential hazard for the user
and will void the manufacturer's warranty.
