Your initial action is to bolt the angled drop stubs [(3) 589-147H] to the back 4x4 tube on the
Verti-Till using 5/8x4x5 ½ U-Bolts [(63) 806-184C] 5/8" hex nuts [(25) 803-021C] and 5/8" lock
washers [(26) 804-022C]. Be sure to place them as shown on the overhead layout. Do not tighten these
bolts at this time. Your next step is to U-Bolt the splitter shank tube(s) [(1) 589-077D or 589-081D] to
the drop stubs. Be sure everything is placed with the correct dimensions and tighten everything down at
this time.
Your spring shank should come to you pre-assembled, so installation of these should be fairly
straightforward. Take the shank mount plate off of the assembly and bolt the spring shank assembly to
the splitter shank tube. Space the spring shank assemblies out as shown on the overhead layout and
tighten bolts.
