Urias Inflatable Splints
Pocket Pressure Gauge
Instructions for Use
Inflate the 'Urias ' Air Splint in the usual manner as detailed in the instructions for use, i.e. by

opening the 'T' valve, inflating by mouth to the desired or recommended pressure, and then
closing the 'T' valve.
Ensure that the Urias
Pocket Pressure Gauge.

Push the connector of the gauge over the Urias

Read the pressure on the gauge dial and close the 'T' valve.

If more pressure is required, remove the gauge from the Urias
inflate the splint further by mouth and repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

If less pressure is required, remove the pressure gauge from the Urias
and open the 'T' valve of the splint to release air. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Repeat process until the required pressure level is achieved.
The Pocket Pressure Gauge is designed to measure the pressure in the 'Urias
recommended 40mm Hg following inflation by mouth.
Care should be taken not to 'kink' the connecting tube
of the Pressure Gauge especially when not in use.
